• Yes, SkyTube app is open source. You can access the source code and issues on SkyTube’s GitHub page. SkyTube app is licensed under GPLv31, which means that you can use, modify, and distribute it freely, as long as you respect the terms of the license.

• How to transfer your YouTube subscriptions to SkyTube app?

• To import your YouTube subscriptions to SkyTube app, you need to follow these steps:
  • Go to Google Takeout and sign in with your Google/YouTube account.
  • Select only YouTube and YouTube Music.
  • Click on Next step, and choose how you want to receive your data. You can either download it directly, or send it to your email, Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive.
  • Wait for Google to prepare your data, and then download the ZIP file that contains your .json file.
  • Unzip the file, and locate the subscriptions.json file inside the Takeout/YouTube and YouTube Music folder.
  • Open SkyTube app.
  • Tap on the three-dot menu icon on the top right corner, and select Preferences And Import/Export
  • Choose the subscriptions.json file from your device, and confirm the import.
  • Wait for SkyTube app to import your subscriptions, and enjoy watching your favorite channels.

• Can I use SkyTube app on car entertainment system?

• SkyTube app is not compatible with car entertainment systems. SkyTube app is designed for Android devices that have a touchscreen and can access the internet. Car entertainment systems usually have different operating systems and hardware specifications, and may not support YouTube playback or SkyTube app features. Therefore, you cannot use SkyTube app on your car entertainment system.
